Employment Ethos
Our Five Part Employment Ethos
- Active Ark will abide by all relevant employment legislation and will at all times conduct itself in furtherance of good practice in equal opportunities and anti-discrimination.
- The central tenet of the Employment Ethos is to provide training and management support to enable care staff to deliver the best care practices and provide career advancement opportunities commensurate with their skills and acumen.
- Active Ark has a policy of open communication and managers conduct regular planned supervisions; the support of our care staff is of utmost importance to their well-being and the morale within the organisation.
- Active Ark has a policy of inclusivity whereby all employees are informed and encouraged to give feedback on topics concerning the care of our young people or the management of the service.
- We have a keep it simple approach to shift allocations; care staff advise when they can work and shifts are allocated around their other employment or dependant’s commitments.
