Service Ethos
Our Five Part Service Ethos
- Active Ark will abide by relevant child care legislation and will at all times adhere to the Codes of Practice laid down by the Scottish Social Services Council.
- The central tenet of the Service Ethos is to strive to improve standards of nurture and care through continual review, evolution of practices, management systems and staff training.
- Active Ark has a policy of open communication; we will provide concise, accurate and relevant information for the social worker and will actively communicate with other agencies to achieve the placing authority’s objectives.
- Active Ark has a policy of inclusivity; care staff and managers will work collaboratively with its young people, their carer’s, the placing authority and other childcare professionals.
- We endeavour to keep it simple; from child care to management systems, from pricing structure to invoicing, this principle will prevail.
